My name is Mary Layne Montalvo, and this is my 5th year teaching here at Saraland Elementary. I am so excited about teaching 5th grade reading, language arts, and social studies. These subject areas are my absolute favorite to teach, and I hope that your child leaves my room with the same love for it as I have. I grew up in Satsuma, Alabama and graduated from Satsuma High School in 2016. I then went on to the University of South Alabama where I obtained my degree in Elementary and Special Education and graduated in 2020. In 2022, I married my wonderful husband Luke.
