Parents,

This week in the resource room instruction will target the following skills:

• rhyming 
• letters & corresponding sounds (Target Pp, Bb, Tt, Dd, Cc); initial sounds in words (distinguish /b/, /p/, /t/, /d/, /k/)
• syllables, phoneme segmentation of CVC words
• listening comprehension (identify story characters, answer questions/discuss story characters)
• high frequency words:  I, a, am, see, the, for, is; color words
• Math - rote counting 0 - 20; read & write 0–10; equal to, greater than, less than
• writing/tracing:  write C, c, D, P, B, R
• social skills - learning about feelings
