    I moved to the Mobile area eight years ago to attend the University of South Alabama. I was born and raised in small town, Hazel Green, Alabama. As much as I miss my childhood "home", I love being a part of the Saraland Elementary School family and I couldn't imagine a better place to call my "new" home! I began my experience with Saraland City Schools seven years ago as a student teacher. Now, I am beyond thrilled to be beginning my sixth year teaching at Saraland Elementary. I am passionate about teaching young minds and I am loving every minute of being in second grade. Outside of school, I am a fur-momma to a Lab-Blue Tick mix pup named Bentley! She makes life much more fun and definitely keeps my husband and I on our toes!
