Degrees and Certifications:

I received a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Education from Auburn University with a focus in Special Education.

Mrs. Jennifer Campitelli

I graduated with a degree in Special Education from Auburn University in 1998. I continued my schooling and received my master's degree from Auburn in 1999 in Special Education with an emphasis on preparing students for the work force.

I began my career in Monroe County in 1999, teaching students at J.U. Blacksher. There I worked with students from kindergarten to 12th grade. My husband was transferred to Atlanta in 2004 and I began working at a small school in Cumming , Ga.  I co-taught first through fifth grade.  In 2009, my husband got a wonderful opportunity to accept a job in Maryland.  I taught in Bel Air, Md until my husband was transferred back to the great state of Alabama in 2011. This is my 11th year working for the Saraland City School System.

I am very excited to be teaching in the Saraland School System.  This is a wonderful school system and community to raise children, which is why my husband and I live and work in Saraland.  I am very busy raising my 3 adorable children.  They are Sarah, age 21, Thomas, age 18, and Grace, age 13. Sarah is a senior at Auburn studying Industrial Engineering. Thomas is a first-year student at South Alabama and Grace is in middle school. We have 3 cats and two energetic dogs. A sweet older dog named Penelope and our newest addition named Oscar. One of our cats uses augmented communication buttons to "talk". His favorite buttons are treat, mad, and pet me.  If I can squeeze in a few minutes for myself, I love to take my dog on walks, read, and exercise.
