I am a lifetime resident of Saraland, Alabama, graduating from Satsuma High School in 2000. I attended the University of Mobile and received a bachelor of science degree in biology in 2004. Upon graduation, I pursued teaching certification through Drexel University. More recently, I became a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Science.
I am eager to begin my 18th year of teaching seventh grade science! I previously taught science and math intervention at Semmes Middle School in Mobile County (2005-2010.) I have coached cheerleading and dance teams at Semmes Middle School and Saraland Middle School.
I have been married to my awesome husband, Michael, for nineteen years. We have been blessed with two precious daughters, Kinsley and Brelynn. In my "spare" time, I enjoy reading, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. I am truly proud to be part of Saraland City Schools. I am excited and looking forward to a productive year. Go Spartans!
