Saraland Middle School Peer Helpers are chosen by the faculty and staff to help assist new students in their transition to 'Spartan Life'. Peer Helpers take pride in giving campus tours to new students, ensuring he/she is as comfortable as possible when beginning their new journey.   While touring new students, Peer Helpers locate scheduled classes and answer any questions regarding activities, clubs, athletics, and all areas in between.  It is the goal of the Peer Helper to make all new students feel welcome at Saraland Middle School.

Peer Helpers

• Serve as a mentor to new students
• Wear Peer Helper apparel on Fridays
• Meet quarterly
• Attend special training on how to be a good mentor/peer helper, host 'Breakfast with a Buddy', and attend special functions at The Cleveland House
