Leslie Nobles

Hello! My name is Leslie Nobles, and I'll be your child's physical education teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. One of my missions is to educate all students on the importance of exercise and to motivate them to participate in a lifetime of physical activity. I hope to provide each student with many opportunities to succeed.

As a teacher, I recognize that children are at different developmental levels, with a variety of needs and interests. I'll provide all students with teaming experiences that are both beneficial and enjoyable. Each lesson is adjusted to take into account the wide range of skill and fitness levels that characterize children in middle school.

I am a Bronze Star recipient as a United States Army officer. I graduated from Alabama A&M University, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Physical Education while playing wide receiver. A native of Prichard, AL, I attended Mattie T. Blount High, where we won a State Championship as a captain for Hall of Fame Coach Ben Harris.

I have a master's degree in Sports Management. I am also a life member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. I'm married to the former Joy Belle. We have two children, one daughter (Lauryn SHS c/o 19) who's serving our country in my footsteps and a son (L.J.), a rising junior at SHS.
