Good day, 

I am Chief Keith Frenzel.  I retired from active duty in 2019 with 22 years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard.  

We are in our second year as one of the nation’s first ten Coast Guard JROTC programs, and the first in the state of Alabama. This year, the Coast Guard JROTC program has extended to 16 schools. There will be challenges and obstacles to overcome, but with honor, respect and a devotion to duty, we will rise above them. 

In addition to classroom activities, we provide a Color Guard for school sporting events, active-duty Coast Guard events, and various Saraland functions. This year we are adding marksmanship to our in-class and after-school activities. With the Orion System, we have the ability to compete against schools and programs across the nation.
