The purpose of the Saraland High School Choral Department is to help students strengthen their musical skills, develop a love of music, and an enjoyment of singing by learning and performing a variety of choral literature. We embrace the mission of Saraland City Schools by helping each student realize his or her unique potential and exemplifying an uncompromising commitment to excellence. In all choirs, students study correct vocal technique, music theory, sight-singing, ear training, music terminology, and rehearse and perform music from a wide variety of musical styles and time periods.
