SYMPHONIC BAND
The Symphonic Band at Saraland High School is our premiere performing ensemble consisting of all high school wind and percussion students from 9th to 12th grade. Symphonic Band consists of all members of the Spartan Sound Marching Band during the fall. All members of the marching band during the fall semester are also members of the Symphonic Band during the spring semester. The group performs music ranging from classical to twentieth century and program a number of pieces for modern ensemble as well. In this ensemble, students will learn fundamental performance techniques for their instruments as well as how to listen and perform in a group setting. The Concert Band is directed by Mr. Chase Davidson and Mr. Andrew Ellis.
