If you are interested in a career in construction, please take a look at the academy of craft training program. If selected, students will attend training off campus with industry partners to gain skills and experience in construction. There will be an informational session on campus November 13th for rising juniors and seniors. If you would like to participate in this program, please let your guidance counselor know during the course selection process next semester.
Description:
The Academy of Craft Training is open to 250 juniors and seniors interested in the commercial and industrial construction industry as a career. The training center boasts a state-of-the-art facility which opened in August of 2022 at Brookley Field in Mobile. Teachers for this program are skilled craftsmen employed by A.C.T. The goal of the Academy of Craft Training is provide students the education and skills needed to be entry-level, skilled workers in the construction industry. Saraland students accepted into the program will be transported by bus first block from Saraland High School to the facility and will return by the beginning of third block.

- Commit to two blocks
- Attend daily
